ONE Championship is back with another blockbuster event, ONE Fight Night 13: Allazov Vs Grigorian — taking place on August 4th, 2023, at 8 PM EDT.
This highly anticipated fight night is set to light up the martial arts world with a lineup of world-class fighters, each bringing unique skills and stories to the ring.
For the uninitiated, ONE Championship is Asia’s largest combat sports league.
They host a combination of MMA, K1, Muay Thai, and grappling bouts in front of a rabid Thai fan base.

These are the ones that have the potential to steal the show and make headlines.
John Lineker
The UFC veteran has always been one of the hardest hitters in the lower weight classes since he burst onto the scene back in 2012.
He takes on a fighter with six losses by stoppage to lesser competition, setting us up for a vintage John Lineker display at ONE Fight Night 13.
Tawanchai PK Saenchai VS Davit Kiria
If you like fast-paced, high-volume action, this could be your favorite fight on the card.
The vastly experienced pairing has more technical striking ability than almost any other pairing on the planet, although Kiria has more to prove, as recent decisions haven’t gone his way.
Tawanchai has been near perfect in his ONE FC run but should be pushed all the way by his game adversary.
Marcus Almeida
Almeida is a monster grappler. There are no two ways about it.
Kane is a fight he was expecting last year that was canceled, so both men have spent a tonne of time training for each other’s skill sets.

Here’s a rundown of the full fight card:
Chingiz Allazov VS Marat Grigorian
In the evening’s main event, two of the best 155lb kickboxers on the planet do battle as Marat Grigorian tries to use his trademark precision to claim the championship from the knockout artist and title holder Chingiz Allazov.
This will be the third meeting for the pair, with the first ending in a no-contest and the second being taken by Grigorian on the judge’s scorecard back in 2014.
Now, nearly a decade on, the pair are much more refined.
Look for an all-action affair that will have big moments for both fighters, but ultimately, it is the champion, Allazov‘s fight to lose.
Mikey Musumeci VS Jarred Brooks
In another ONE FC, “What would happen if” styled match-up, grappling ace Mikey Musimeci takes on MMA strawweight title holder Jared Brooks.
It looks to be an uphill battle for Brooks, as this is a grappling-only match-up, with his opponent being a flyweight by trade, 10 lbs heavier than Brook’s usual fighting weight.
Tawanchai PK Saenchai VS Davit Kiria
In another blockbuster kickboxing bout, Thai veteran Tawanchai TK Saenchai looks to score a huge featherweight win in front of his home crowd as he takes on Georgian Kyokushin Dait Kiria.
The well-traveled pairing has 222 fights between them, with Tawanchai, in particular, being a household name in his native Thailand.
Tawanchai is known to grow as the fight progresses, so look for a possible late knockout in the third round from the Thai.
John Lineker VS Kim Jae Woong
John Linekar, who also goes by “hands of stone,” has had quite the run since his entering the One FC mix.
He takes on South Korea’s Jae Woong Kim in what is his first fight back in the cage following his title loss to Fabricio de Andrade.
4-1-1 since joining up, this looks like a much more winnable fight for the Brazilian, and he probably does so by knockout.
Anna Jaroonsak VS Cristina Morales
Following a split decision loss to multi-sport sensation Stamp Fairtex, “Supergirl” Jaroonsak returns against Spaniard Cristina Morales.
The pair meet under the kickboxing rule set, and it is very much set up for the Thai fighter to get back to winning ways.
Jaroonsak looks the more polished of the pairing and should get back into the win collum should she show up in her usual form.
Marcus Almeida VS Oumar Kane
The big boys are in action next as Brazilian grappling ace Marcus “Bucheda” Almeida takes on Senegal’s powerhouse Oumar Kane at heavyweight.
Buchecha is an ADCC-decorated grappler and is 4-0 thus far in MMA, all by way of first-round submission.
He is primed to extend that run to 5, barring being caught by a big punch on the way into a takedown.
Elias Mahmoudi VS Edgar Tabares
In what looks set to be a firefight, Elias Mahmoudi takes on Edgar Tabares in a flyweight Muat Thai bout.
Mahmoudi is now well-seasoned in the ONE FC ring and is well-decorated in the art of Muay Thai.
His opponent, Tabares, looks to bounce back from defeat to the best in the world, Rodtang.
Iraj Azizpour VS Ahmed Krnjic
In a sleeper fight for the evening, Iraj Azizpour of Iran and Bosnia’s Ahmed Krnjic go to war in the kickboxing heavyweight division.
The pair are devastating punchers and have knockout power, as well as clinical technical skills.
Krnjic returns following an impressive upset debut at ONE 163 and looks to add a huge name to his resume in Azizpour.
Azizpour will likely be the favorite, having obtained a 3-1 record during his ONE FC tenure.
Jhanlo Mark Sangiao VS Enkh-Orgil Baatarkhuu
In the card’s opening bout, undefeated Philepino prospect Jhanlo Mark Sangiao puts his 6-0 record on the line against Mongolian grappler Enkh-Orgil Baatarkhuu.
Sangiao is 13 years Baatarkuu’s junior and will be the favorite to make it 7-0 and his fourth straight win in the Singapore-based promotion.
